For investors
Goosery is an iPhone app for expecting and new parents.
What Goosery is
A parent takes photos of each room with an iPhone, and Goosery gives back a list for that room. Each item names a hazard and its fix. The items come in the order the parent will need them, as the baby rolls, crawls, pulls up and walks. Every item comes from a standard, which is the rule Goosery writes for one hazard.
Where it stands
Goosery opens soon. It's part of Georgia Tech's CREATE-X Ideas to Prototype program.
Every standard behind the plan is reviewed and signed by a practicing pediatrician.
What it costs
Goosery is free to start, with a crib check and a count of the hazards in each room. The full plan is a one-time fee. It lists every hazard, with its fix and when to do it.
